Medical

We believe it is near impossible for people to live out their full potential in life when they deal with constant sickness in their bodies. In Haiti sicknesses that we in the US would consider common and preventable are devastating. This is due to the lack of access to proper medical care and costly medicines.

We can help alleviate this in a number of ways: we will train local hospital staffs in CPR and any other requested training, we will assess the equipment and supply needs of local hospitals and work with vendors in the US to obtain the items necessary for a higher quality of care, and through seminars in the local nursing schools, we will teach new nurses how to adequately care for the sick according to the standards and curriculums that are being used in American nursing schools.

We will work with local pastors to determine the areas of greatest medical need and set up temporary mobile clinics in these areas. These clinics will consist of professional volunteers such as doctors, pharmacists, nurses, EMTs, dentists, dental hygienists, and other medically trained professionals and will be capable of seeing hundreds of patients daily.
We are now providing yearly medical clinics in the Cavaillon and surrounding area. We work with local pastors and hire Haitian translators and helpers. Our goal is to use every opportunity to provide a way for the locals to support themselves financially.

If you are interested in helping in any of these areas, our contact information is provided on the “Contact Us” tab.
