Through the years Haiti has endured devastation after devastation from earthquakes, to floods, to hurricanes, to cholera outbreaks. We have always been here to assist during these crisis. Three weeks after the 2010 earthquake that killed over 200,000 people, we brought a medical team to assess and treat the situation. We have assisted with water filters and bringing food and chlorine tablets to treat water during the flood and hurricanes that have come through the years. We provided cholera education with teaching seminars to villages after the outbreak. And after Hurricane Matthew in October 2016, we built back six homes in Gros Marin that were demolished. Whatever the need may be, we are here to assess and do what we can to bring communities back from the devastation that so often comes in a country whose infrastructure and resources are so poor.
